Israeli Forces Close Main Roads in Palestine
Israeli occupation forces closed the main road near the Netzarim settlement in Gaza City, Friday, August 20, 2004, forcing Palestinians to walk along the coast. Israeli Prime Minister Israeli Ariel Sharon vowed in an interview published today to see his Gaza pullout plan through to the finish, despite an embarrassing defeat by his right-wing Likud party.(AFP)
